From a real problem to a working product.
01 / The big picture
A spreadsheet has become a system.
Your team deserves something that fits.
A customer needs a portal. A process has outgrown its tools. Information gets entered twice and the next action gets lost. We start with the work itself, then build a practical product around the people doing it.
02 / What we do
One team to connect product decisions, interface design and development. Start with a focused workflow or a larger application.
Find your starting pointUnderstand the task, the people and the workarounds. Decide what to adapt, what to connect and what needs something new.
Discovery / Workflow mapping / Product scopeDesign the screens, decisions and handoffs around real use. Test a working prototype before committing to the full build.
Product design / Prototypes / User testingBring the interface, business rules and existing systems together, with clear permissions and considered exception handling.
Web applications / Portals / IntegrationsTest the important journeys, prepare your team and agree who looks after the software as your business changes.
Quality assurance / Handover / Ongoing support03 / Products in practice
Our own products give us a practical view of the decisions that matter long after the first release.

Product presentation imagery. Explore each project for its scope and context.
04 / How we get there
Regular reviews, visible progress and a shared definition of what good looks like. You can see the product taking shape.
Follow a task from start to finish. Understand users, access, data and the awkward parts of the current process.
A clear problem & product brief
Design a focused prototype. Agree the first release, acceptance criteria and the connections it needs.
An agreed scope & working prototype
Develop the application in reviewable stages. Test real scenarios with the people who will use it.
Tested functionality & regular reviews
Prepare the release, data and team. Agree monitoring, maintenance and the next round of improvements.
A practical handover & support plan
05 / What it could look like
The right product starts with a specific need. These are some of the places custom software can help.
Give customers a clear place to make requests, share information and see what happens next.
Requests / Documents / Status updatesTurn a spreadsheet-led process into a shared workspace with clear ownership and fewer repeated steps.
Approvals / Scheduling / OperationsMove the right information between the tools you already use, with visible failures and a way to recover.
CRM / Booking / ReportingIs the challenge mainly customer history and follow-up? Start with a closer look at the customer workflow.

Launch is a handover into everyday use. We agree the practical details that keep the software understandable, maintainable and useful to your team.

07 / Before we get started
You don’t need a technical specification. Tell us what is difficult today and what better would look like.
We review the available tools and your specific gaps first. An existing product, including one of our own where appropriate, may be sufficient. Custom development should have a clear reason.
Yes. A small, usable release can test the important assumptions before expanding. We agree what it must handle, how acceptance is checked and what remains outside the first release.
We agree responsibility for hosting, maintenance, updates and support before launch. Ongoing development and third-party charges are scoped separately from the initial build.
We review the available interfaces, permissions and data before promising a connection. The scope defines what is exchanged, how errors are handled and any third-party licences or ongoing costs.
Source access, intellectual property, hosting accounts, documentation and third-party licences are agreed in the proposal. We make the handover responsibilities clear before development starts.
Tell us what you want to improve. We’ll help you work out a practical next step.
