FDS Cards Ltd / Design Studio
Terms of service
The general terms for using this website and discussing work with Design Studio. Your written project or booking agreement defines the specific engagement.
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Who we are and when these terms apply
Design Studio is a trading name of FDS Cards Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 12117394. Our registered office is 25 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London, England, E14 4QZ. VAT registration: GB447898524.
These terms apply to this website and provide the general basis for design, development, marketing, advisory and learning services. A proposal, order, booking confirmation or signed agreement defines the particular engagement. A signed written agreement takes priority where it expressly varies these terms, subject to mandatory law. An enquiry or prepared outline does not itself create an order.
Scope, fees and changes
Before work starts, we agree the deliverables, responsibilities, fees, payment schedule and timetable in writing. Hosting, maintenance, licences, third-party costs and continuing support must be identified in that agreement. Changes to the scope, cost or timing should be agreed before additional work proceeds.
Taxes are charged where legally due. Consumer offers must identify the total payable price and applicable delivery costs before an order is accepted. This website does not take payments or confirm reservations.
Training, books and gift cards
Training topics, participants, format, duration, location, price and cancellation or rescheduling arrangements are confirmed before booking. Learning and advice do not include a production build or ongoing implementation unless expressly agreed.
Book availability and prices are shown by the chosen retailer or confirmed directly before purchase. Gift-card format, value, delivery, validity and redemption are confirmed before an order is accepted. This page does not create an expiry period or a non-refundable booking condition.
Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights. Applicable cancellation rights and required information about early service commencement or digital content will be provided before an order is accepted.
Your responsibilities and acceptable use
If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to agree the work and provide accurate instructions. Supply agreed content, approvals and authorised access in time. You remain responsible for the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed for material you provide.
Keep credentials secure and use appropriate permissions. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Personal-data processing on your behalf requires applicable processing terms and documented instructions.
Do not use the website or services unlawfully, infringe rights, distribute malware, gain unauthorised access, disrupt operation or send unlawful communications. Do not reverse engineer or resell a supplied service except where the law or a written agreement permits it.
AI assistance and third-party services
AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete and must be reviewed before use or publication. Agree the approved information, checks, human oversight and escalation responsibilities. AI assistance is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or safety advice.
Concept studies, planning tools and learning examples do not promise revenue, rankings, savings or a particular result. Historical articles may describe products, prices or tools that have changed.
Third-party providers control their own terms, availability, security and changes. You are responsible for accounts you maintain and connections you authorise. Mentioning a tool does not commit us to implementing it; the written scope defines what is included.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
You retain rights in your content and data. We and our licensors retain rights in pre-existing software, tools, methods, website material and technology. The project agreement identifies ownership or licences for bespoke deliverables, source files, third-party material and any conditions connected with payment.
Reading this website does not transfer intellectual-property rights. An expressly offered book sample may be used for personal evaluation; redistribution or commercial reuse requires the relevant rights holder’s permission.
Each party must protect non-public business, technical and commercial information received from the other and use it only for the relationship, unless disclosure is authorised or legally required. Do not send passwords, customer records or confidential documents in an initial enquiry.
Care, availability and liability
We provide services with reasonable care and skill. We cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation of this website or third-party services. Other warranties are excluded only to the extent permitted by law. Further liability arrangements belong in the applicable written agreement.
Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Ending an engagement
Either party may end an engagement in accordance with its written agreement and applicable law. That agreement should address completed work, outstanding fees, access, handover and continuing licences. Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to protect security, prevent unlawful use or address a material breach. Obligations intended to continue, including confidentiality, survive termination.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having jurisdiction unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Contact info@design-studio.co.uk about projects or info@design-studio.co.uk about company and legal matters. You may also write to the registered office or call +44 7366 510477.
We may revise these website terms. Changes to an existing engagement are governed by its agreement and applicable law, rather than automatically applying a new website version retrospectively.
