01 / The big picture

Less working
around it.
More getting on.

A spreadsheet has become a system.
Your team deserves something that fits.

A customer needs a portal. A process has outgrown its tools. Information gets entered twice and the next action gets lost. We start with the work itself, then build a practical product around the people doing it.

  • Built around real users
  • One useful release at a time
  • Ready for the work after launch

02 / What we do

The thinking.
The product.
The details.

One team to connect product decisions, interface design and development. Start with a focused workflow or a larger application.

03 / Products in practice

We build it.
We work with it.

Our own products give us a practical view of the decisions that matter long after the first release.

Product presentation imagery. Explore each project for its scope and context.

04 / How we get there

A clear scope.
A useful first release.

Regular reviews, visible progress and a shared definition of what good looks like. You can see the product taking shape.

  1. 01

    Map the real work

Follow a task from start to finish. Understand users, access, data and the awkward parts of the current process.

A clear problem & product brief

  2. 02

    Prove the approach

Design a focused prototype. Agree the first release, acceptance criteria and the connections it needs.

An agreed scope & working prototype

  3. 03

    Build in useful steps

Develop the application in reviewable stages. Test real scenarios with the people who will use it.

    Tested functionality & regular reviews

  4. 04

    Launch with a plan

Prepare the release, data and team. Agree monitoring, maintenance and the next round of improvements.

A practical handover & support plan

05 / What it could look like

Different tasks.
Better ways to work.

The right product starts with a specific need. These are some of the places custom software can help.

Customer portals

Give customers a clear place to make requests, share information and see what happens next.

Requests / Documents / Status updates

Internal tools

Turn a spreadsheet-led process into a shared workspace with clear ownership and fewer repeated steps.

Approvals / Scheduling / Operations

Connected systems

Move the right information between the tools you already use, with visible failures and a way to recover.

CRM / Booking / Reporting

Is the challenge mainly customer history and follow-up? Start with a closer look at the customer workflow.

06 / Beyond the launch

Built to work.
Ready to evolve.

Launch is a handover into everyday use. We agree the practical details that keep the software understandable, maintainable and useful to your team.

Your software handoverAgreed before we build

Ownership

Know what is yours

Source access, account ownership, documentation and licences.

Operations

Know who looks after it

Hosting, monitoring, backups, updates and support responsibilities.

Next steps

Improve with a clear purpose

Feedback from real use, a prioritised backlog and agreed costs.

07 / Before we get started

Good questions.
Practical answers.

You don’t need a technical specification. Tell us what is difficult today and what better would look like.

Should we build or buy?

We review the available tools and your specific gaps first. An existing product, including one of our own where appropriate, may be sufficient. Custom development should have a clear reason.

Can we start with one workflow?

Yes. A small, usable release can test the important assumptions before expanding. We agree what it must handle, how acceptance is checked and what remains outside the first release.

What happens after launch?

We agree responsibility for hosting, maintenance, updates and support before launch. Ongoing development and third-party charges are scoped separately from the initial build.

Can it connect to our existing systems?

We review the available interfaces, permissions and data before promising a connection. The scope defines what is exchanged, how errors are handled and any third-party licences or ongoing costs.

Who owns the code and accounts?

Source access, intellectual property, hosting accounts, documentation and third-party licences are agreed in the proposal. We make the handover responsibilities clear before development starts.
